Price API access based on who the agent is

Use agent identity and trust to decide what each caller should pay for an endpoint.

The problem

A flat price treats a long-standing, well-behaved agent the same as an unknown one. That leaves you with no way to reflect the different costs and risks of serving them.

How it works

  1. Identify the agent and evaluate the trust signals that matter to your API.
  2. Use the resulting identity, score, or tier in your own pricing policy to choose a quote or access level.
  3. Show the price and enforce payment before running the expensive operation.

What you get

A known agent can receive the price and access level you choose, while a new or higher-risk agent can receive a different quote, a smaller limit, or a challenge.

What to connect

Valiron supplies identity and trust context. Your application defines the pricing rules and checkout. Dashboard wrappers currently have a fixed price per endpoint; they do not automatically change price by agent.

Start small

Pick one paid endpoint and define two clear price bands. Use the Valiron SDK result to select the band before your existing payment flow.
